Staying loyal to his obsession with the cartoon aesthetic, Charles Garcin presents us with his latest illustrations which formed part of his recent exhibition VICIOUS. Confronting issues of violence in the contemporary world, Garcin acquires pop culture children’s characters and depicts them in violent settings, directly reflecting on the attitudes of the youth. His chaotic illustrations are filled to the brim with colour and harsh lines fuelling anger within the page.
