Former Manchester United midfielder Jesse Lingard has revealed that Wayne Rooney will be banned from buying luxury cars by the club’s academy players if they have not played 50 games for the first team.

Lingard joined the Red Devils at the age of seven and was hand his debut in 2014 by Louis van Gaal.
The 32-year-old, who currently plays for FC Seoul in South Korea, was a team-mate of Rooney between 2011 and 2017. Lingard was ask about the situation and revealed that Rooney wanted to keep him and the Academy players in the frame.
